May 3, big storm at 10 am. Tree felt down to the electric cable behind Sheila Restaurant. Short circuit. Power surge, overload etc. Many the equipments damaged.
Airconditioners. Water heaters. Computers. Printer. WIFI Router. Dryer. Fax. TVs.
Had to refund the guests. Had to close the rooms. By the time the Tenaga National (the electricity company) fixed the cables, it was past 6.00pm.
And its Thursday. Friday repair shops closed. Spareparts shops closed on Saturday and Sunday. And bad things going on. Some just cannot be repaired. And our house as you know, full of people. Full of bookings. Need desperate action. Cannot wait for the spareparts to come next week. Bought new airconds. New water heaters. Printer. Router.

Ohno... so sorry to hear that, Zack. Hope everything will get better soon.
Anyway, just wanted to say that it was nice staying at the guest house (apart from the psycho karaoke session from that English bar out front). I especially liked how the room was cleaned everyday :)
The chats after dinner were nice too. Unfortunately, we were too tired to join you all for more on the other nights.
And to Neil (the Englishman residing in Thailand), I didn't get to say goodbye to you! I went to the living room twice on Tuesday but you were at the beach (according to Zack). I enjoyed your company. I hope you get this! I plan to go to Thailand to snorkel next year :)
