Hot and humid days

The days are hot and humid.

As we put satellite back down on the living room, most of the guests just laze around there now. Karim from Oz still here. Nicole from Germany and Charlie from UK as well. Nick and Michelle from UK still do not know when they are going to leave. In between now and last blog, we had/have Danish boys Ramus and his friend, Wiener from Germany, Lee from KL, Max from Germany, Fergus from NZ (he ll be back in Dec with his family), Yuen from HK.

Tomorrow we will have Bilal and family from India and Jeffry from USA.

Go public!

So we finally made it to KL or more exactly Genting.
This time we decided to use public transportation : bus! For Zack, this was the first time after 30 years as usually we drive ourselves to anywhere.

Picture here : skybus from LCCT to KL Sentral (red) RM9, Aerobus that charge RM1 cheaper (yellow bus but not star shuttle), Genting bus RM3.30 only from KL Sentral to Genting skyway station, Genting skyway RM5.

Thank you for all the guests this week!

Long time do not post anything. Lazy bug attacked again. .

Anyway we had to buy new airconditioners, printer, modem, water heaters, .. ok list goes on and on - as all of them were unable to be repaired. .

Along the way however we had most of guests taking this easy. Lucky us. With the storm everyday made you just can't do anything but look at the DVD - if no black out! Seriously seven years living here, this was so far the worst week ever. )Not that bad actually, ok must admit, we still have the sun in the morning.)

Black outs, electrical damaged, storm, flying roofs - oh yeah that one also another story. Had to move the guests from AC5 as the roofs flew some and caused major leaks. Josh just took it easy. They moved bed's position despite our offer to move their room. Sweet!

All just sat in the living rooms - sometimes watched DVD sometimes just watch over the storm - yeah, again in spite of all this funny things, our house was full. They just did not care about our warning bla bla bla that this is not the right season to stay in our house and they can find hundreds room with 50% discount other places in the island.

Leo and his gf from China even extended their stay - although we had to put fan in their room as the aircond was not ready by then, Jaclyn is staying longer as well til Monday, Anastasia with her husband and family from Russia stayed for almost a week - although they were the one that suffered most as they had checked in when the black out, the blew up, the black day without internet - lol., Anna from Hungary, Christian, Bree - all of them. Thank you for staying and trusting and for not even complaining nor grumbling - at least in front of us!

Charlie and Nick are back. Studying hard now before next week exam. Karim is still in the house. Ryon and Joel from KL checked in last night. The rest we cleared out as we are preparing for cleaning up the house for our holiday.

Personal note : IF nothing stupid happen, we are going to Genting for at least a night to waste our hard-earned money there. So wish us good luck!
Zack is still waiting for the worst to come as so many bad things happen this week. I just being simple said that we are throwing out all our bad luck here to retain our good luck for next week. - ok, not that funny apparently.

What a day. What a bad day.

May 3, big storm at 10 am. Tree felt down to the electric cable behind Sheila Restaurant. Short circuit. Power surge, overload etc. Many the equipments damaged.
Airconditioners. Water heaters. Computers. Printer. WIFI Router. Dryer. Fax. TVs.
Had to refund the guests. Had to close the rooms. By the time the Tenaga National (the electricity company) fixed the cables, it was past 6.00pm.
And its Thursday. Friday repair shops closed. Spareparts shops closed on Saturday and Sunday. And bad things going on. Some just cannot be repaired. And our house as you know, full of people. Full of bookings. Need desperate action. Cannot wait for the spareparts to come next week. Bought new airconds. New water heaters. Printer. Router.

What a day!
What a bad day!

Sunba's night

We are definitely going to slow down a bit. We missed March to close down hence we just want to take it easy this May.
Farhad left yesterday (and yet I did not take his picture again!) after few times came to our house without reservation and hence made him roomless. He never learns apparently. Lucky him that this time one couple missed their flight hence they only came one day earlier and as we cancelled the room - put them in other place afterward.

Karim is still in the house tough and this week till today house is full of Chineses and Taiwanese and Thomas - English teacher in Senzhen - China. (pic).

Anyway, last night Zack went overboard in Sunba.
