Melvin and Zack - LIMA Dec 07

New year's eve party as usual. Rooms were full. I managed to get a flight to be in the guest house just before midnight. What a day.

After that, it was just one after another hectic days. Zack added one more twin room fan shared bathroom and it has been occupied as well. So we have 18 rooms in total now.

Guests are wonderful as well. Most are staying for more than couple of days. And again, we make a ritual of drinking (or drunk) at our usual round table.

New Year is coming

New year is coming in days time, so far today Dec 26, 13 rooms were booked out of 17 rooms and thus I have 4 rooms available. I hope I will get full occupancy so that we can have a satay party for the New Year Eve.

I hope there will be another 4 rooms filled up this next few days to make it full for a new year party.

What a life!

Pete went home to Bandung on 22 December, luckily my daughter Sofia who lives in KL came over on 20Dec thru 26 Dec...that helps. My 2 younger children came too on 18 Dec they are Norman and Nadia. As usual Norman will be stuck on the internet/laptop day and night...what a waste. It is sad that Sofia left today Dec 26, I am alone till Pete come back perhaps Jan 03. The husekeeping maid is off on 27 Dec. So left me a lone and 2 dogs. I gave notice to the guests that there is no changing of linens and housekeeping for a day....hopefully.

What a week

Busy weeks. Lost maid. Lost workers for Zack as well. Good news is that we got good material from LIMA although it gave Zack new idea to build new communal area. Hence the new communal area cannot be used till today.

Two families are staying with us, Harris' from England and Lisa's from Sweden. Judith is still here till 14. Rooms are full as usual although we had 2 annoying cancellation/no show. What a week.

Old mate

Old mate from KL came to Langkawi and visited Zack. Zack was so happy. Good for him! Here are the pics. Donald and his lovely wife and daughter.

Tiring and mad month. So full. With girls! And we are rushing now to finish the new communal area. We have 3 more single fan rooms with shared bathroom and one triple aircond ensuite and one twin aircond ensuite.

Hopefully we can bring in electricity and satellite tv cable tomorrow and on Friday we can move the kitchen and the sitting area to new place. More spacious and airy.

So many things to do. Small fixtures have not been fixed while rooms are so full, I can't even breath at all. Housekeeper will end her tenure this 30th as she has to cater food for LIMA. Big headache. For me.
